We are seeking a graduate Industrial Engineer with over 15 years experience working for the Maintenance of Equipment Department for a U.S. Railroad Company. The prospective new hire will have extensive knowledge of FRA maintenance and inspection procedures and rules. The primary applicant will be designing rail maintenance shops and yards throughout the country. The job will require extensive knowledge of shop practices and procedures.
The new hire will work with the MBTA in Boston in developing overhaul procedures for the Redline fleet and on a new shop design for expansion of the Greenline. The applicant will also work in designing a new rail shop associated with the expansion of rail line to the Dulles Airport in coordination with Dulles Metro.
